Panegyria
Panegyria (singular: panegyri / πανηγύρι) are associated to specific religious holidays and the corresponding places of worship in the region, while most of them are associated with saints or religious events known to all Christian churches. They are mainly celebrated with one or more days of entertainment and traditional dances until the early hours of the morning, accompanied by the sounds of old folk melodies from Zagori.
