Vikos Canyon
The Vikos Canyon
has been recorded by various sources,
including the Guinness Book of World Records,
as the “deepest canyon in the world,
in regard to the ratio of width to depth.”
The total course of its channel,
which exceeds 32 kilometers, starts from Bokovo,
near the village of Skamneli,
and forms mostly vertical cliffs,
especially in its main, 12 kilometers long segment
